Hey gang!

I made the trek up to Burlington (3 hours going 70mph from Amherst!)
last night, and what a night! I was a little bummed when none of my
friends could come with me (finals, you know) and I had to drive alone.
Not to mention I had a +1 on the guest list and no one to use it. What
would I do? :-)
I got to the venue at around 6:30 and found our nethead friend, Ryan
hanging outside. He gave his ticket to his friend and walked around the
back with me. I had some computer work to do so there was no problem
sliding in the stage door :-) Ryan hung out with me downstairs while
I fixed bugs and added features -- Chris came down to give me shit and
try to scrape a resin (sp?) hit (heheh). Just as I was about done, Trey
came in and we had a chance to talk for a while. He asked how the net
was doing -- like what people were talking about. When I mentioned that
people were asking about why they didn't play certain songs anymore, he
told me how he felt and said, (from memory) "You want to post this? Ok...
tell 'em this: you gotta understand...we've been playing some of these
songs forever... we used to play Alumni Blues every night.... I'm just
sick of it. And AC/DC bag used to be highlight of every set." He went
on tot say that they'll probably never play Alumni or Slave again, and
they DEFINITELY will NEVER play Prep School Hippie again. Trey said,
"What a stupid song". The most important thing he said was "The new
stuff it where it's at.... for me". And for the first time, I think
I understand. We all see a couple shows here and a couple shows there,
but they do it every night. There are also songs he said he could play
every night (Foam, Horn to name a few).
Ok, a few more comments and then the setlist. By time we got upstairs,
there were already people inside! Ryan and I were in and I still had 2
tickets waiting for me in the box office! (This is where it gets fun).
I got to go outside and miracle 2 people. Wow. What a rush! Anyway,
enough babbling... here's the setlist:

P.S. Hayduke! You're not the only one who loved that Possum on Sunday!
When Trey was talking about songs they do all the time, he said,
"...like Possum, we play it all the time, man, but last night [re-
erring to Union] it was the best we've ever done it. It was just
totally sick... you have to get the tape!" Heh... sure trey... I'll
      get the tape.
